Qasem Soleimani, jefe del grupo élite iraní Fuerza Quds y artífice de la estrategia de seguridad de la República Islámica en el extranjero, fue asesinado en un ataque de dron a petición del presidente de EEUU, Donald Trump, mientras se desplazaba en un convoy cerca del Aeropuerto Internacional de Bagdad.
